When a Samaritan woman came to draw water, Jesus said unto her, “Will you give me a drink?” John 4:7
Lord, what a testament to how much you desire relationship with us. Out of all the things you could say to us, about us, against us, you choose to ask us for engagement with you. You, as the living water in your fullness, and refreshing stance, approach us, engaging us to give our minimal offering of sustenance to the one who has and is endless sustenance. We are in awe of the things you’ll do , say or allow just to support a face-to-face encounter with us. You ask us for little with no judgement or condemnation, just simply and calmly inquiring as to whether we will give you a small portion of our draw. Thank you for loving us so. In Jesus Name….AMEN
For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed, and be cast into the sea, and shall not doubt in his heart but shall believe that those things which he sayeth shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith. Mark 11:24
Lord, we thank you, that in the finished work of Christ, and by the profession of our faith, you have given us the same authority to tramp out demons, heal the sick, give sight to the blind. That the same power that raised Jesus from the dead, is alive and in us. So today we claim that gift, that inheritance, and we speak aloud. We cast out, no Lord, I am making this personal, I cast out the spirit of sickness and death from everything dear. I claim healing, full and complete restoration. I speak in faith, believing and declaring it is done. I cast out naysayers and claim you to be Lord over this situation. In Jesus Name…AMEN.
For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities, but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Hebrew 4:15
Lord, we thank you that you know where we are at, what we fee, where we hope, doubt and limit you. But truth be told you are limitless you have the work around’s not only in her health but also in OUR hope. Because you care about what we think, we seek you to help our minds reign in on your glory, on your desire that we will not be infirm, but that all concerned will walk in freedom from limitation. That our wholeness will be manifest through you. We thank you that you are in control and that you desire healing and restoration for your glory. In Jesus Name…AMEN.
For the word of God is quick, and powerful and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12
Lord, we thank you that your Word is timely and on point for every situation we face. Your Word defines and divides the mind, will and emotions with which we tend to operate from your will as delivered by the Holy Spirit. You are able to define our mobility and clarity it to the yearnings of our inner man. Lord help us to seek your heart as well as your hand. We believe for uttermost healing of mind, body and spirit.
This is so exciting. I’ve been promising the Lord (or HE has been telling me) to get this writing started. Is it a book, is it a blog, a website….my indecisiveness has limited my capacity. So when I finally decide to become obedient about what he has placed in my heart, I am clearly met by obstacles. I know how to write but I dont know how to create a blog. Do you know how frustrating that is? And just when I was about to call it quits, I was prompted to change the theme. Just pick something that you like (for now), you can always change it later. So I did. Its colorful, its eclectic, it has varied textures and patterns, which for now, is very descriptive of my life (and its still free). I press select….and whala, very similar features, but I can now navigate, the blinders are off of my eyes.
Im sure this is not the most informative or even interesting of blogs, but it is a demonstration of Gods faithfulness to the little things that we are challenged with each day. This has been on my heart for years, and finally, today, a beginning.
Thank you Lord, for loving me enough to not give up on me, and making a way, out of what seemed to be no way.
In Your Presence,
